Red Ribbon Club
Red Ribbon Club is a movement started by the Government of India in schools and colleges through which students will spread awareness about HIV / AIDS. The main objectives of Red Ribbon Club are to reduce occurrences of HIV / AIDS infections among youth by raising awareness, to instill among students the value of service towards community, develop healthy life style and increase access to safe adequate qualities of blood to all needy by promotion of regular voluntary blood donations.
Red Ribbon Club is functional in Govt. college Drang at Narla. Our college organized various online activities/ competitions on the event of New India @ 75 Campaign First Phase from 12 August,2021 to 31 August,2021 to spread awareness about HIV / AIDS, Tuberculosis and importance of Blood donation among students. Online launch of the campaign was also attended by the RRC of the college.

The Nodal Officer Prof. Asha Thakur along with student Peer Educators attended “One Day Orientation Programme and Exposure Visit” on 9 Nov,2021 organized by HP State AIDS Control Society, Mandi, HP at Zonal Hospital Mandi.
